2024 Regional Business Plans and Budget

Durham Regional Council and the Finance and Administration Committee intend to consider the 2024 Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budget for Regional operations, the Police Services Board, outside agencies, Durham Region Transit, solid waste management and related fees and charges, including the 2024 Regional property tax rates:

Finance and Administration Committee meeting:
Tuesday, March 19 at 9:30 a.m.
Durham Regional Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby, Ontario.

Regional Council will then consider the proposed 2024 Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budget and related fees and charges at their meeting:

Wednesday, March 27 at 9:30 a.m.
Durham Regional Headquarters, 605 Rossland Road East, Whitby, Ontario.

To submit written comments to the Finance and Administration Committee, contact the Legislative Services Division by email at clerks@durham.ca or by telephone at 905-668-7711 or 1-800-372-1102, ext. 2054, by no later than noon on Monday, March 18.

If you wish to make a delegation before the Finance and Administration Committee, submit your request in writing to delegations@durham.ca by no later than noon on Monday, March 18. Members of the public who register in advance of the meeting will be provided with the details to delegate electronically or in-person. Interested members of the public can view the Committee and Council meeting via livestream by visiting durham.ca/Live.

The 2024 Property Tax Supported Business Plans and Budget will be available on Friday, March 15 at durham.ca or upon request by telephone at 905-668-7711 or 1-800-372-1102, ext. 2304.
