Construction Liens

As of October 1, 2019, if you wish to submit a claim for lien under Section 34 (3.1) of the Construction Act for premises owned by the Region, you must give your claim to the Regional Clerk using the prescribed Form 12 which can be accessed through the Ontario Court Forms webpage. Complete the form and send it by email to constructionliens@durham.ca. Claims for lien submitted after 5:00 PM local time are deemed to have been given on the following business day.

If you would like to submit a withdrawal of your claim for lien, you must use the prescribed Form 18 which may also be accessed through the Ontario Court Forms webpage. Complete the form and send it by email to constructionliens@durham.ca
