Adult Day Programs offer supervised therapeutic, social and recreational programming

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham offers Adult Day Programs for adults who require support, including adults with cognitive impairments such as dementia.

What: Adult Day Programs provide supervised therapeutic, social and recreational programming in a safe setting. Activities include exercise and wellness programs, arts and crafts, gardening, visiting pets, music and more. The Adult Day Programs include a hot lunch and snacks, as well as assistance with personal care.
