Back to SearchWhitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is accepting applications from individuals interested in serving on the following committees:
- Accessibility Advisory Committee
- Durham Active Transportation Committee
- Durham Agricultural Advisory Committee
- Durham Environmental Advisory Committee
- Durham Region Anti-Racism Taskforce
- Durham Region Roundtable on Climate Change
- Durham Region Transit Advisory Committee
- Energy from Waste – Waste Management Advisory Committee
What: The Region of Durham has a number of advisory boards and committees, whose members are appointed by Regional Council. Qualified applicants are selected in accordance with the process specified in the terms of reference for each board and committee. Applicants must be a resident of Durham Region, an employee of a business operating in Durham Region, or the owner of property in Durham Region.
How: Application forms can be obtained from durham.ca/Committees, or by contacting the Legislative Services Division at 905-668-7711 or by email appointments@durham.ca.
When: Completed applications must be submitted to the Regional Clerk by 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 27 to appointments@durham.ca or to:
