Applications open for Durham Region’s Accessibility Advisory Committee
Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham Accessibility Advisory Committee (AAC) is seeking two new members, a professional from the stakeholder community and a person with a disability, who are passionate about creating an inclusive and accessible region.
The mandate of the AAC, which is a committee of council, is to act in an advisory role to Regional Council through the Finance & Administration Committee on the preparation, implementation and review of its annual accessibility plan and other accessibility-related issues and opportunities within the region. The work of the AAC will be guided by Council approved Terms of Reference.
