Blue Maple Sewage Pumping Station in Ajax, Night Work
The Regional Municipality of Durham will be performing maintenance at the Blue Maple Sewage Pumping Station, located at 41 Mayor Crescent in Ajax, on Wednesday, July 22. The station will be shut down for approximately five hours, beginning at approximately 11 p.m.
The Region’s contractor, W.A. Stephenson, must perform the maintenance work at night when our sewage flows are at their lowest. During the work, crews may need to perform bypass pumping, requiring a diesel pump and trucks to be on site near the pumping station in the residential area. It is anticipated that the night work at the station will take approximately five hours. The Region realizes that this work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.
The date shown is tentative and may change based on the contractor’s schedule.
