Celebrate Bike Month in Durham Region!

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham invites you to celebrate Bike Month by taking part in a series of fun and educational cycling activities throughout the region. From June 1 to 30, residents are encouraged to explore Durham Region’s unique landscapes and scenic trails while practicing safe cycling.    

Where: Visit durham.ca/BikeMonth to register for a series of local activities including a Bike Month pledge, a Region-wide Cycling Contest, Bike Bingo, Scavenger Hunt Photo Contest and explore fun activities planned by local area municipalities.

Why: Bike Month is an opportunity to learn new skills, celebrate cycling and replace car trips with bike trips. As one of the largest celebrations of biking in Canada, Bike Month events across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area (GTHA) brings families, employers, commuters and community organizations together.
