On October 17, Durham Region recognized Imagine a Day Without Water—a US Water Alliance worldwide day of education and advocacy about the true value of water and the need for innovative solutions to help solve water-related challenges in communities worldwide.
In recognition of this day, the Region is holding a drawing challenge for Durham residents 18 years of age and under. Draw or paint a picture of what water means to you and your family. Your creation may be featured in the Regional Water reports!
