Construction at intersection of South Blair Street and Victoria Street this weekend

Whitby, Ontario – Lanes will be reduced at the intersection of South Blair Street and Victoria Street in Whitby next weekend, as the Region of Durham installs a new watermain.

When: Saturday, February 29 at 7 a.m. until Sunday, March 1 at 5 p.m. Unfavorable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Victoria Street at South Blair Street. Lanes will be reduced in all directions, and there will be no left turns permitted from Victoria Street onto South Blair Street. Detour routes will be posted ahead of the lane closure.

Why: To safely install a new watermain.
