Construction on Regional Road 20 in Clarington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Regional Road 20, from east of Regional Road 57 to west of Middle Road, in Clarington.

When: Work begins this week and should be complete by the end of October. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Regional Road 20, from east of Regional Road 57 to west of Middle Road, in the Municipality Clarington.

Why: Work includes culvert replacements; ditching; asphalt removal and replacement; new guide rails; partially paved shoulders; and new pavement markings.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
