Construction to close Essa Crescent in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents that construction will close Essa Crescent (north of Breezy Drive) in Pickering for approximately two months.

When: Essa Crescent will be closed from July 17 to September 29. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Essa Crescent, from Breezy Drive to approximately 215 metres north of Breezy Drive, in the City of Pickering.

Why: Work includes watermain replacement; sanitary sewer replacement; replacement of residential sanitary service connections; and road reconstruction.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
