Day and night lane restrictions on Victoria Street East

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on Victoria Street East (Regional Road 22), in the Town of Whitby.

When: Day and night Aug. 12 and Aug. 13. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Eastbound and westbound on Victoria Street East, from 130 metres west of Thickson Road South to 260 metres west of Thickson Road South, Whitby.

Why: The lane restrictions are required for the safe installation of sanitary sewage service for new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
