Durham Accessibility Conference returns with focus on the power of inclusion in the workplace
Whitby, Ontario – Abilities Centre, in partnership with The Region of Durham, invites the business community, Durham Region employers and those interested in exploring the power of inclusion in the workplace to attend the Durham Accessibility Conference.
When: Tuesday, May 30 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Registration is now open.

What: The theme for this year is Power of Inclusion: Moving Accessibility from awareness to action. This conference features keynote speaker Mark Wafer, Interim President and CEO of Abilities Centre, Durham and a panel discussion. Attendees will hear about the value that inclusion brings when we practice disability inclusion in the workplace and leave with practical tips on embedding accessibility throughout the employment cycle.
Why: This conference will support creating and maintaining a diverse workforce and inclusive work environment—a place where each person can contribute to and benefit from the organization’s collective success.
