Durham Environment and Climate Forum will celebrate environment and climate contributions
Whitby, Ontario – The Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee (DECAC) and the Durham Climate Roundtable are hosting the first annual Durham Environment and Climate Forum – an evening to take stock of progress on climate action, and celebrate the achievements of environment and climate change leaders in Durham Region.
Who: Durham Climate Roundtable (through Ontario Tech University’s Brilliant Energy Institute) and Durham Environment and Climate Advisory Committee.
What: Durham Environment and Climate Forum.
When: Tuesday, November 14 from 7 to 9 p.m.
Where: Ontario Tech University, Science Building Atrium, 31 Founders Drive, Oshawa, Ontario.
This hybrid event will take place in person and will be livestreamed for virtual attendees. Please indicate your attendance option when registering for this event.
Why: The evening will highlight environmental and climate achievement and appreciation through the Durham Environmental Achievement Awards Ceremony, a presentation of the first annual Climate Roundtable Greenhouse Gas Emissions and Climate Action report and the launch of the Durham Climate Dashboard.
