Durham Region celebrates National Public Works Week May 19 to 25

Durham Region will celebrate National Public Works Week (NPWW) May 19 to 25 to recognize the vital services our public works employees provide each and every day. From providing clean drinking water, to collecting waste at the curbside, to maintaining our Regional Roads, and keeping Regional facilities safe and operational, public works is there for you.

We encourage everyone to celebrate the Works Department and all their contributions in person with us on June 15 as part of the Region’s 50th anniversary Doors Open event.
