Durham Region home child care providers are invited to a professional development conference

Whitby, Ontario – Home child care providers in Durham Region are invited to attend the Home Child Care Conference to engage in professional development and network with others.

What: The Home Child Care conference will feature a keynote presentation on loose materials to support open-ended and creative learning opportunities. The event will also offer the following workshops: Outdoor programming; Exploring opportunities to play; Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Special Needs Resourcing to support home child care; Understanding behaviour; and Difficult conversations.

When: Saturday, April 29 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Where: Ontario Tech University, UA Science Building, 2000 Simcoe Street North, Oshawa.
