Durham Region seeking feedback on 2021 budget priorities
Whitby, Ontario – Community members are invited to learn more about the Region’s Business Plans and Budgets, gain an increased understanding of the Region’s programs and services and share input on key priority areas during a virtual Budget Town Hall.
When: Wednesday, October 21
Where: The town hall will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will be streamed online via the Region’s website. Residents who would like to listen in to the live event or ask questions via phone call can pre-register for the event by emailing budgets@durham.ca with their name and phone number.
Why: As one of the fastest growing municipalities in North America, Durham Region’s annual budget allocates resources to ensure Durham residents and businesses enjoy a high quality of life with quality programs and services that align with the key priorities outlined in the Durham Region Strategic Plan.
