Durham Region seeking input to assist in development of new 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan

Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is developing a new 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan; a document that will set out strategic direction and actions for housing and homelessness for the next 10 years.

To assist in the development of this important plan, we are seeking input from community members, via an online survey. Your input is important to this process. Please take a moment to share your personal experiences and ideas. All feedback will be reviewed and taken into consideration.

Where: Complete the survey online, until January 7, 2024.

Why: Durham Region is currently underway in developing a new 10-Year Housing and Homelessness Plan. The goal is to combine At Home in Durham with the Durham Region Master Housing Strategy into one comprehensive plan, with expanded goals and actions. Gaps identified through community engagement and research will help set new targets to reach the goals.
