Durham Region to host Waste Plan Virtual Town Hall

Whitby, Ontario – Residents are invited to join Durham Region’s Director of Waste Management Services and other members of our Waste Management leadership team for an hour-long virtual Town Hall session on November 5.

Community members will have an opportunity to learn more about the Region’s 2021 to 2040 Long-term Waste Management Plan (Waste Plan) and to provide their input to help develop the framework for the plan.

When: Thursday, November 5 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Where: The town hall will begin at 6:30 p.m. Please visit durham.ca/WastePlanTownHall to access this event. Pre-registration is not required. For viewing on a mobile device, please download and install the free Microsoft Teams app prior to the event.

Why: It’s a chance for residents to join the conversation and provide their feedback on the Region’s vision and objectives for waste management over the next 20 years.
