Eligible households are invited to attend Canada Learning Bond sign-up events
Whitby, Ontario – Eligible residents can receive money for their child’s post-secondary education through the Canada Learning Bond. This Government of Canada benefit will deposit up to $2,000 into a Registered Education Savings Plan (RESP), helping households with a modest income grow their child’s education savings.
For help accessing the Canada Learning Bond, the Region of Durham welcomes eligible households to attend sign-up events. A $25 grocery gift card will be given to the first 40 households in attendance at each event on a first-come, first-served basis.
