Gain tips and strategies to manage your child’s challenging behaviours at virtual workshop series
Whitby, Ontario – Parents seeking tips and strategies to manage challenging behaviours in children (ages two to 12 years) are invited to attend free virtual workshops hosted by Durham Behaviour Management Services. Upcoming topics include how to prevent and respond to challenging behaviour, what to do if your child is not listening to you, and strategies to achieve your desired behavioural outcomes.
When:
- Zero to Sixty – October 13, 20 and 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m: this three-part workshop series will offer strategies to prevent and respond to challenging behaviour from preschool through to preteen years.
- Compliance and Reinforcement – November 2, 16 and 26 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.: this three-part series will cover what to do if your child has difficulty with communication, is not listening to you, and/or is refusing to do what is asked of them.
- Act Your Age – December 7 from 6:30 to 9 p.m.: this workshop will explore early years development, challenging behaviours, how to support children, and recommended strategies for desired behavioural outcomes.
Where: Workshops hosted by Durham Behaviour Management Services are held virtually via Microsoft Teams due to COVID-19 physical distancing measures.
Why: Behaviour Management Services provides behaviour supports to children, parents, and educators in licensed child care.
