Intermittent lane shifting on Scugog Street (Highway 7A) in Port Perry

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of intermittent lane shifting on Scugog Street (Highway 7A) in the community of Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.

When: The week of September 20 to December 2021. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Scugog Street (Highway 7A) from Pine Court to Ash Street, in Port Perry in the Township of Scugog.

Why: To complete construction of a new watermain.

Note: Some residents near the construction area will experience intermittent water supply interruptions during construction. Impacted properties will be provided with at least 24 hours’ notice in advance of any service interruptions.

The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
