Intersection of Bloor Street and Wilson Road in Oshawa will reopen today
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents that the intersection of Bloor Street East and Wilson Road South is reopening later today. Bloor Street East between Ritson and Wilson roads in Oshawa remains closed to traffic until December.
When: The intersection of Bloor Street East and Wilson Road South is reopening later today. Construction on Bloor Street East from Ritson and Wilson roads is ongoing until December. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Bloor Street East (Regional Road 22), between Ritson Road South (Regional Road 16) and Wilson Road South (Regional Road 35) in Oshawa.
Why: This work is part of the ongoing construction of the new feedermain on Bloor Street (Regional Road 22) and replacement of local watermain and sanitary sewer systems. The work is necessary to replace aging infrastructure while ensuring residents continue to have access to safe, reliable and clean municipal drinking water.
