Join the fun at the annual Fairview Lodge Fall Fest
Whitby, Ontario – Members of the public are invited to attend a fall festival on the grounds of Fairview Lodge in the Town of Whitby.
When: Sunday, September 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Where: Fairview Lodge, 632 Dundas Street West, Whitby (at the corner of Dundas and Cochrane streets)
Why: Events include a barbecue; antique cars and Ontario Regiment RCAC Museum vehicles; displays from Region of Durham Paramedic Services, Durham Regional Police Service, and Whitby Fire and Emergency Services; vendor tables; entertainment; white elephant sale (gently used books, toys and household items); and more!
Note: Proceeds from the event will go towards the enhancement of resident programs at Fairview Lodge.
Fairview Lodge, one of the Region’s four long-term care homes, is located on 12 acres in the Town of Whitby. It houses 198 residents and was designed with an emphasis on accessibility standards; and environmental stewardship, as a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold building.
