When: September 20, 2024 from 9:30 a.m. to noon.

Who: This event is being planned by the Indigenous Advocacy Subcommittee of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Working Group, in collaboration with the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Division and in partnership with the City of Pickering and Town of Whitby.
Why: The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation honours the children who never returned home and survivors of residential schools, their families and communities who continue to be impacted by these tragedies.
