Lane restrictions at Westney Road/Rossland Road intersection

Whitby, Ontario –

The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise the public of lane restrictions at the intersection of Westney Road (Regional Road 31) and Rossland Road (Regional Road 28) in Ajax.

WHEN:

Ongoing until November 24. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

WHERE:

Westney Road (from Delaney/Magill Drive to 140 metres north of Rossland Road) and Rossland Road (from 35 metres west to 345 metres east of Westney Road) in the Town of Ajax.

WHY:

To complete surface asphalt and modifications to curbs, sidewalks and traffic signals.

NOTE:

Access to local driveways and businesses will be maintained whenever possible. The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
