Lane restrictions of Simcoe Street and Reach Street in Scugog

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) and Reach Street (Regional Road 8) in the Township of Scugog.

When: Ongoing to June 19. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.  

Where: Simcoe Street from Beech Street to Riverview Drive, and Reach Street from Bigelow Street to Simcoe Street, in Scugog.

Why: Road reconstruction. 

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces.
