Lane restrictions on Altona Road in Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Altona Road (Regional Road 27) in the City of Pickering. 

When: May 7 to 15. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Altona Road from Finch Avenue to Sparrow Circle, in Pickering. 

Why: To install a new sanitary sewer.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces.
