Lane restrictions on Bloor Street West in Oshawa
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Bloor Street West (Regional Road 22) in the City of Oshawa.
When: February 25 to March 10. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.
Where: Eastbound and westbound lane restrictions will take place on Bloor Street West, from west of Thornton Road South to Stevenson Road South (Regional Road 53), in Oshawa.
Why: To allow for the relocation of Enbridge Gas infrastructure in preparation for a pending Region capital works project.
Note: Local businesses and the Durham College Oshawa GO/Via Rail station and parking lot will be accessible throughout the construction, however additional time may be required to access the area.
The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
