Lane restrictions on Brock Street East and road closure of Nelkydd Lane in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Brock Street East and a road closure on Nelkydd Lane in the Township of Uxbridge.  

When: May 4 to ­­­­29. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Lane restrictions will take place on Brock Street East between 4th Avenue and Nelkydd Lane. Nelkydd Lane will be closed between Planks Lane and Brock Street East, in Uxbridge.

Why: To safely install a watermain, sanitary and storm sewer.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces from April 3.
