Lane restrictions on Champlain Avenue in the Town of Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Champlain Avenue (Regional Road 25A) in the Town of Whitby.

When: June 3 to July 19. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Lane restrictions will be in place on Champlain Avenue, from 780 metres west of Thornton Road South (Regional Road 52) to one kilometre west of Thornton Road South, in the Town of Whitby.

Why: The lane restrictions will be in place for the safe installation of a storm sewer to support new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
