Lane restrictions on Church Street South and Bayly Street West in Ajax and Pickering

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Church Street South (Regional Road 24) and Bayly Street West (Regional Road 22) bordering the Town of Ajax and the City of Pickering. 

When: March 29 to July. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Church Street South from Bayly Street West to 100 metres north of Bayly Street West, and Bayly Street West from Church Street South to 200 metres east of Church Street South, in Ajax and Pickering. 

Why: To safely construct turn lanes to support new development.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
