Lane restrictions on Gorevale Crescent/Hillsdale Avenue in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Gorevale Crescent/Hillsdale Avenue in Oshawa.

When: Aug. 6 to Sept. 25. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Gorevale Crescent/Hillsdale Avenue in Oshawa.

Why: To safely replace an existing watermain.

Note: Entrances to Hillsdale Terraces and Hillsdale Estates long-term care homes will be maintained at all times. To complete the watermain replacement in an efficient manner, daily lane restrictions will occur when necessary. Access for residents and emergency vehicles will be maintained at all times. On street parking will be limited for the duration of construction. The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
