Lane restrictions on King Avenue West at Rudell Road in Newcastle

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on King Avenue West at Rudell Road, in the community of Newcastle in the Municipality of Clarington. One lane in each direction will be maintained at all times.

When: Ongoing until July 13. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.  

Where: King Avenue West at Rudell Road in Newcastle.

Why: To safely install a watermain.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews. Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces.
