Lane restrictions on King Street East in Oshawa due to watermain break

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on King Street East in Oshawa, from Wilson Road to Farewell Street, due to watermain repairs. One eastbound lane on King Street East will be closed while the work is being completed.

When: There will be lane restrictions until further notice; further updates will be provided as they become available.

Where: Eastbound on King Street East, from Wilson Road to Farewell Street, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: To allow equipment access to repair a watermain.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
