Lane Restrictions on Lake Ridge Road in Pickering and Whitby

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in the City of Pickering and Town of Whitby. 

When: May 4 until July 2020. Unfavourable weather conditions may affect the schedule.

Where: Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) from just north of Highway 407 to Myrtle Road (Regional Road 5).

Why: Road rehabilitation.

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.

Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces on April 3.
