Lane restrictions on multiple streets in the Region of Durham
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of multiple lane restrictions in the Municipality of Clarington, Township of Scugog, City of Oshawa, Town of Whitby, Town of Ajax and City of Pickering.
When: May 10 to June 4. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: The following Regional Roads:
1. Regional Road 57 in both the Municipality of Clarington and the Township of Scugog
2. Shirley Road (Regional Road 19) in the Township of Scugog
3. Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) in the Township of Scugog
4. Harmony Road (Regional Road 33) in the City of Oshawa
5. Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa
6. Myrtle Road (Regional Road 5) in the Town of Whitby and City of Oshawa
7. Lake Ridge Road (Regional Road 23) in the Towns of Whitby and Ajax
8. Brock Road (Regional Road 1) in the City of Pickering

Why: To safely complete routing and sealing of roadway asphalt cracks.
Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service.
