Lane restrictions on Regional Road 12 in Cannington

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Regional Road 12 in the Township of Brock community of Cannington.

When: Ongoing until September 23. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Regional Road 12 west of Sideroad 18A to 400 metres west of Sideline 18A in Cannington.

Why: Lane restrictions will be in place to allow for the construction of a new watermain, municipal well, well enclosure, pumphouse and communications antenna.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise additional caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
