Lane Restrictions on Regional Road 8, in the Township of Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Regional Road 8, in the Township of Uxbridge.        

When: Ongoing until July 9. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Regional Road 8 from east of Concession Road 5 to west of Concession Road 6, in the Township of Uxbridge.    

Why: To safely complete road rehabilitation.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Drivers, cyclists and pedestrians are reminded to exercise additional caution.

Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service.
