Lane restrictions on Regional Road 8 in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on Regional Road 8, from Mill Run Golf Course to 400 metres west of Concession Road 4, in the Township of Uxbridge.

When: Ongoing until June 28. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Regional Road 8, from Mill Run Golf Course to 400 metres west of Concession Road 4, in Uxbridge.

Why: Culvert replacements, ditching, asphalt removal and replacement, partially paved shoulders, and new pavement markings.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
