Lane restrictions on Rossland Road in Whitby
Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, in partnership with the Town of Whitby, is advising residents of lane restrictions on Rossland Road in Whitby.
When: June 28 to end of September. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.
Where: Rossland Road, from Cochrane Street (Regional Road 43) to 220 metres east of Brock Street North in the Town of Whitby.
Why: Lane restrictions will be in place for the installation of a multi-use pathway. This project is part of the upcoming reconstruction of Brock Street North.
Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service.
