Lane restrictions on Saintfield Road in Scugog

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises that a portion of Saintfield Road (Regional Road 6) will be under construction beginning next week.

When: Work is scheduled to begin on June 24 and should be complete by September 20. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Saintfield Road, from Provincial Highway 7/12 to Simcoe Street, in the Township of Scugog.

Why: Road resurfacing work includes culvert replacements, ditching, paving and new pavement markings.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
