Lane restrictions on Sandford Road in Uxbridge

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department would like to advise residents of lane restrictions on Sandford Road (Regional Road 11), from west of Concession Road 6 to Concession Road 7, in Uxbridge.

When: Construction begins this week and is expected to be complete by June 30. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Sandford Road, from west of Concession Road 6 to Concession Road 7, in the Township of Uxbridge.

Why: Road rehabilitation.

Note: Access to local driveways and businesses will be maintained at all times. The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and construction workers.
