Lane Restrictions on Simcoe Street and Winchester Road in City of Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham advises residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) and Winchester Road (Regional Road 3) in the City of Oshawa.

When: April 27 to June 1, 2020. Unfavourable weather conditions may affect the schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street from 500m south of Winchester Road to 250m north of Winchester Road and Winchester Road from 320m west of Simcoe Street to 310m east of Simcoe Street. 

Why: Road construction and intersection modifications.  

Note: Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.

Please also be advised, in response to COVID-19 the Province of Ontario has identified the maintenance and repair of critical infrastructure including roads as an essential service, according to the latest update of essential workplaces on April 3.
