Lane restrictions on Simcoe Street in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street near Coates Road in the City of Oshawa.

When: Ongoing until November 2020. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street, approximately 460 metres south of Coates Road, in Oshawa. One lane in each direction will be maintained throughout the project. Additional lane restrictions may be required to complete the work.

Why: Rehabilitation of the Canadian Pacific (CP) underpass.

Note: The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
