Lane Restrictions on Simcoe Street in Township of Scugog

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of alternating, daytime north and south-bound lane restrictions on Simcoe Street (Regional Road 2) in the Township of Scugog.

When: April 25 to May 4. Unfavourable weather conditions may influence the work schedule.

Where: Simcoe Street south of Saintfield Road (Regional Road 6) in the Township of Scugog.

Why: To safely complete bridge repairs.

Note: Please note the construction work will be completed one lane at a time. The Region realizes that the construction work will be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise additional caution for pedestrian, cyclist, and construction worker safety.
