Lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa due to repairs at pumping station

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of intermittent lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) in Oshawa, near Niagara Drive, for repairs at the Simcoe Street North Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station.

When: Intermittent lane restrictions begin February 14. Further updates will be provided as they become available.

Where: Southbound onSimcoe Street North, south of Niagara Drive, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: Repairs at the Simcoe Street North Sanitary Sewage Pumping Station.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
