Lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North in Oshawa

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham, Works Department advises residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street North (Regional Road 2) in Oshawa, at Russett Avenue, to repave a section of road that was cut for watermain repairs. One northbound and one southbound lane on Simcoe Street North will be open while the work is being completed.

When: The work is expected to be completed later this evening.

Where: Simcoe Street North, at Russett Avenue, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: To repave the road that was cut for watermain repairs.

Note: The Region realizes that the work is disruptive, and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and the work crews.
