Lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South in the City of Oshawa

This PSA has been updated to reflect the latest information.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Simcoe Street South (Regional Road 2) in the City of Oshawa.

When: July 3 to September 15, daytime only. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Lane restrictions will be in place daily on Simcoe Street South, from Kawartha Avenue to Harbour Road, in the City of Oshawa.

Why: The lane restrictions will be in place to safely install water, sanitary and sewer services for a new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
