Lane restrictions on Stellar Drive in the Town of Whitby

This PSA has been updated to reflect the most current information available.

Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents of lane restrictions on Stellar Drive (Regional Road 25) in the Town of Whitby.

When: July 2 to October 18, daytime only. Unfavourable weather conditions may impact the work schedule.

Where: Lane restrictions will be in place on Stellar Drive, from 850 metres west of Thornton Road South (Regional Road 52) to one kilometre west of Thornton Road South, in the Town of Whitby.

Why: The lane restrictions will be in place for the safe installation of a sanitary main to support new development.

Note: The Region realizes that the work may be disruptive and will make every effort to complete the work as quickly and efficiently as possible. Drivers are asked to exercise caution for the safety of pedestrians, cyclists and work crews.
